About me

As a journalist, I've worked for a few publications already. Working there, I noticed that I often missed writing about beauty and lifestyle content. My solution: writing whatever I wanted about whatever I wanted to write about on my own little blog. Red Lips and Beauty Bits was born!

I'm born and raised in the Flanders, the Dutch speaking part of Belgium (you know, where you can drink very good beer and eat lots of chocolate). I have Michelle Phan, thé guru of all beauty gurus on Youtube, to thank for my makeup obsession. Testing makeup and doing makeup for photo shoots and events has made me feel more confident about myself.

I am truly convinced that makeup is not something to hide behind, but to feel confident about your own beautiful features. With Red Lips and Beauty Bits, I want to share that feeling with all of you.
