My favorite thing about fall is probably the dark lip that makes its comeback. Whether you opt for a vampy shade with purple undertones or simply a deeper red that is more in your comfort zone, a darker lip in fall suits everyone. Plus it makes your teeth look whiter!

My favorite fall lip products are a good mix of drugstore and high-end products.
My first love is without a doubt the Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in shade 107. This shade is not completely matte, but is very comfortable on the lips. It comes out more berry than the dark red it pretends to be in the tube.
Another product that I've been using like crazy for years now is the Sleek Pout Polish in the shade Perfect Plum. This is such a brilliant product because of its simplicity. You can dab this on slightly and bring in in your purse to reapply or you can apply it heavily with a brush to create a dark fall look that isn't too daring. The formula of this is great, very balm-like but pigmented.
My most recent dark lipstick obsession is what I'm wearing on my lips on the picture below: the MAC lipstick in Diva. This matte shade is just perfection. It's the ultimate fall lip color, the Mother of All Lipsticks. It's vampy, it's edgy, it's amazing. It is to be applied with care though, since it's very dark and easy to mess up. Definitely a high maintenance lipstick.
