HAIR: Red hurr don't curr

So, after being in doubt for weeks about what to do with my hair, I decided to opt for a light red color. I'd colored my hair to 'honey blond' twice before, but that really didn't make a huge difference. In the end 'copper blond' made the cut!

Here's a before and after of my hair! As you can tell, it's definitely not blond anymore (copper blond my ass). I have to say that I've completely fallen in love with this hair color! It looks a bit more orange on photo than it is in real life. It has quite a red undertone. 

I used the L'Oréal Casting crème gloss in 834 Toffeelicious copper blond. It's the kind of hair color that washes out. The color should completely fade after 28 washings. I love this hair color. It looks very natural in real life, it didn't seem to damage my hair at all and is very affordable. Plus, the shade makes me feel very badass. Not at all unimportant.

LIP COMBO: Coral color

Since some serious spring weather is finally upon us in Belgium, I have been sporting a very glossy, coral lip lately. My go-to products for this look are the Revlon Super Lustrous lipstick in 674 Coralberry and the Bourjois Color Boost lip crayon in 04 Peach on the beach.

Layering is the message here. Firstly, I apply the Revlon lipstick on moisturized lips in a patting motion. Then I take the Bourjois lip crayon and run this over the lips. The result is a glossy, almost juicy, but not at all sticky lip look. Very wearable and very spring appropriate. It's that easy!

Review: Bourjois Maxi Delight bronzer

Since summer in Belgium is finally (sort of) upon us, I’ve been checking out the bronzing products on the shelves again. I tried out the Bourjois Maxi Delight Bronzer. Read on to discover my opinion on this product!

Look how gigantic this compact is. I'm pretty sure this bronzer would last you years. It comes in two shades, color 1 and 2. I tried color 1 Fair/Medium and thought it could be too light for me, but it’s actually perfect for an all over bronzing effect on my face. For contouring, it’s too light though.

The bronzer contains some light golden shimmers. I usually don’t enjoy shimmer in bronzers, but in this one, I find it just perfect. I apply this with my Sephora contouring/blush brush. It doesn't look cakey or muddy and I like it for a light, effortless look. 

On the left you can see a swatch, on the right it's blended out.

It’s not a jaw dropping/amaaaaazing bronzer, but you really can't complain for that price. It’s just what I want it to be: a product that gives me that nice, subtle glow. To be honest I don’t want a heavy bronzer right now, since I’ve been doing a very minimal makeup application lately.
